YAAR

A much needed update methinks..........when uni starts again I will believe it or not actually be on this a little more often (she says) as I am forced to sit infront of the machine with essays and a disortation.......

Where to begin.................the dutch lot finally got back to me, from september I will be studying in Utrecht Holland!! *insane ukranian microwave tranny happy dance* Initially i'll be going untill December, and if all goes well and I like it i'll be staying untill the end of June.
Dundee is nice (if you can call it that) I just miss the buzz and randomness from first year, im too comfortable here and do sometimes lack the motivation (course wise). Hoping to get the "RAGE" (not intending to pilage the place, just to get the spark, essence, drive back painting wise............I sound like a twat now....) as Tony calls it when I get to Holland. Dutch is hard...........flemmy bits are fine, the Dutch and the Scots have that in common.

The Hub sucks

Picked up a few good phrase books. Ive been told the one entitled "alternative" dutch has everything I need to know.........with phrases like "please pump my stomach" and "I believe I have just soiled myself, please call me a taxi" I guess im pretty much sorted....................

The hub will rape you of all your pennies.

Uni ended quite a few weeks back now, got my grades back and im pretty chuffed, B's throughout the whole year, even for the essays *shock, horror* bear in mind though it took me about two hours just to write the introduction so I think the grades were well deserved.

On arrival the Hub will provide you with their very own on location stalker for no extra cost.

We have a new edition to the Mauchline house hold. My dad got a kitten last week, Oscar aka Ozzy (name by moi), he is so cute! Tigger unfortunately was hit by a car quite a few weeks ago now (I think, right now I have no concept of time, brain's in holiday mode). The family were saying the house felt pretty empty without him, which I did notice when visiting. Ozzy is 8 weeks old, and is ginger and white. He has massive ears, they are like adult size, just waiting for the rest of his body to catch up, but seriously huge ears, so cute. Believe it or not he is more pathetic than Tigger, loves the attention, sprawls over you..........we seem to have a knack for choosing potentially gay cats.

Your whole £250 damage deposit will pay for your stalker and a few licks of paint on your bedroom wall when you move out.

Now you have past and future news here's something for the present. Off to Prague tomorrow for 10/11 days. There are 8 of us going including :iconrococo: and :iconsun-dog: . Going out there for the masters of rock festival...............ok not quite Prague, like 8 hours away from Prague, but we do have 3 nights in Prague post masters. Line-up is alright, have seen the majority before...........remember all that gigging I did during first year........you'd have never guessed I was actually in a 9-5 course. Only band I haven't seen there that im fussed about is TYR. Bring on the folk. So the whole trip for me will be pretty chilled out. Whilst in Prague we intend to visit the "bone church" which we've nicknamed, literally it is wall to wall of bone. The monks ran out of space to put them all so made things out of the bones............tis meant to be pretty cool. Also the sex and the torture museams in Prague have come highly reccommended *rolls eyes* could be a laugh.

Stalker is not optional, cannot be traded on ebay for a much preferred kid of the japanese variety that has it's own box.

After Prague I have about a week before questing off to Wacken, awesome line-up this year, better than last year I think, alot more folk and death orientatied *folk jig*. My mate is driving while ill be co-navigating with the sat nav (thank god, my map skills are awful, I thought the Czech republic was part of Russia till last month).............nice one. Mostly looking forward to Moonsorrow, Falconer, Moonspell, Schandmaul, Vader, Dimmu Borgir (mega dissapointment, was told shagrath wore denim at sweden rock, wtf, he's black metal for christs sake, he'd burn his nan if he hasn't already if she wore denim.......ill end this now before it turns into a page worth of rant) and ofcourse Immortal......and not just for the corpse paint novelty.

Did anyone see Live Earth, Wembly? Spinal tap!!! Not that we got to see much, after a few songs they switched over to live earth in Tokyo to show you some rn'b person shaking her thang, I would have settled for the foggies.........yeh they were looking pretty old. The stage was later graced by madge's presence. She had these two foreign guys playing folk esque instruements and dancing about, they were ace, she was just old and kinda sucked. Chris rock was ace, interview with Jonathon Ross, hilarious. I quote
"I pray that this event ends global warming the same way live aid ended world hunger"

Black folk have to be the most racist people ever. Seriously, but that is a rant for another day.....this journal is gonna take you long enough to read as it is.

See what I did there........little bit of hypnosis ;p

May have an update post wacken...........

Tat ziens

Oi, divvy!

If you ever read this, go straight to your hotmail account and reply to the email that's been sitting there for you, from me, for donkeys!

Or you could note me on here, if that makes it any easier.

We need to add each other on Skype, as long distance phone calls wouldn't go down well with the old people.

Toodles.

I don't know how often you're on here anymore, so I'll probably copy most of this onto Facebook ...

Anyway! This is Gail, starting up a new account on here. Fun stuff. Just to say sorry that I missed you on MSN the other day, I'd left my music going while working and just left MSN signed in by accident. How're you doing just now anyway? x

We've just set up a sketch-jamming session in Edinburgh that we'll hopefully run on the first wednesday of every month. Basically it's gonna be a drink n' draw with some good tunes, where people of all levels who enjoy a good doodle can get together. Nothing too structured or stuffy, no bigger picture. Just wanna see if any of the nice folk on DA are interested? check out our page for more info.(just in case you're ever in the area!)
